NX Hiding the original body when selecting a feature from the Part Navigator

User has a cylinder feature with some features added to it including a Trim Body feature. When the Cylinder is selected from the Part Navigator the entire cylinder displays in the graphics screen. The user would like to have just the trimmed body of the cylinder be highlighted.

Solution

To hide the original body the Selection setting for "Highlight Original" must be toggled OFF.

 From Preferences:  Selection --> toggle OFF "Highlight Original"

 From Customer Defaults --> Gateway --> General --> Selection --> toggle OFF "Hide Original".

With the Highlight Original toggled OFF, when the Cylinder feature is selected it will only highlight the trimmed cylinder.
