NX "The root assembly has no associated arrangements" is raised in Structure Manager.

After sending an assemblies Item Revision to structure manager, the column for Active Arrangement is added and shows no arrangements. Double-click in the field raises "The root assembly has no associated arrangements"

Solution

First make sure the customer default setting for "Synchronize Assembly Arrangements" is toggled ON.

    Teamcenter Integration --> Assembly (tab) --> Synchronize Assembly Arrangements

Open the assembly in NX and add an  arrangement to the assembly, make the new arrangement the active arrangement then save the assembly. Send the assemblies Item Revision to Structure Manager it will now list the assemblies Active Arrangement in the column..
