NX Converting stocks to components raises an error.

Converting stock to component raises the following error;

Convert to Stock as Components...

This operation encountered an error, causing an undo to be performed. you may safely continue with the session; please report this as an NX Routing problem.

Solution

This error is fixed in NX 1859, prior to that release a workaround is to set the following environment variable to the required item type.

   UGII_ROUTE_SAC_PART_TYPE=my_item_type
