NX How to add a new member (Bitmap) in the Structure Designer Stock?

Adding new components in the inventory for the Structure Designer Stock with pictures.

Solution

The stock list for the Structure designer can be found under ..\NXSTRUCTUREDESIGN\data\library\SectionReg.xlsx

First add a new directory named "Bitmap" ( Case sensitiv! )
under the directory "library", and put your bitmaps from your new Members under this directory.

Be sure that the Bitmaps are small . (e.g 150x150)

To define it in the "SectionReg" Excel, you should add suffix ".bmp", like "BR Profile 45×45{BR_Profile_45×45_mm.bmp},{ BR_Profile_45×45_mm_b.bmp }"

Notice: there are two pages in Excel (Shapes_in / Shapes_mm).

Make sure that the bitmaps and the real parts in this list are in the right places and that the bitmaps and the parts are in the right folder on the hard disk.
The names of parts and bitmaps must be identical in the Excel list and on the hard disk.

These steps will make it work to add bitmaps for customized types.
