The Solid Edge Teamcenter Integration [SEEC} will not run and throws the following error message:
Failed to create a session object. Verify that your Solid Edge Teamcenter Client software installation and Solid Edge are the same Version and Maintenance Pack level.
Solution
This is a misleading error message.
The issue is actually that after updating the workstation to the Windows 10 version 2004, a Microsoft introduced operating system issue is then preventing SEEC from successfully running.
This issue can be overcome by downloading and installing the specific Microsoft KB4568831 fix:
