Solid Edge Searching based on Solid Edge file status is returning only a fraction of expected results

Performing a Windows search or a Solid Edge search based on Solid Edge file status is only returning a small number of files from certain folders in the vault.  Strangely, if you enable the SEStatus column in Windows Explorer, the expected files will display.

Solution

This can happen if you have set Read-only permissions on the folders and their contents.
