NX Creating a Turning Tool Path when the Part has already been Finished

A turning part has been completely finished. No stock remains on the part.

A spring pass needs to be added with a new tool to make sure that a portion of the part is cut within tolerance.

Because there is no material left on the part a standard finishing operation does not generate a tool path. How can this cut be added?

Solution

Entering a value in the Stock, Tolerance & Clearance -> Blank Stock pane adds stock onto the part only in the current operation.

When generated the tool path will now be created.
