Tecnomatix Fanuc RCS initialization issue with M2000ia-1700L

Robot will not initialize, receiving error -68 from RCS.

Solution

This Virtual Robot requires a weight be attached by default . The virtual robot must be modified during creation to turn off the check for a weight.

So, when creating the virtual robot in the Fanuc Virtual Robot Setup Wizard, check "Stop at Controlled Start" checkbox on the last dialog screen; when it stops, select "m" for Menu.

In the Menu, select "4" for Variables.

Cursor key down the list to 737. Use the F5 key to change it to FALSE.

Press "f" key, then Enter key to resume the Virtual Robot creation.
