NX How to disable auto work part change in NX assemblies

How to disable Work Part change when selecting components in assembly context?

Solution

In order to have the "Allow Automatic Work Part Change" toggle be available the user must first set the Customer Default Modeling-> General-> General tab-> "Allow Automatic Work Part change" on.

Once it is set and NX is restarted, the user will now be able to toggle that behavior on or off with the following icon
