The Cut Strategy in a Turning finish operation was changed to Diameters First, Then Faces.  This was done so that all of the diameters in the part are cut first and then when that is done the shoulders, or faces, are cut.

When the operation was generated all chamfered faces were left uncut. What settings in a Turning operation will cause this angled geometry to be cut when cutting the face geometry?

Solution

The reason that these chamfers are not cut is because they are not recognized as either diameter or face geometry. These walls need to be within the Minimum and Maximum Face Angle set in the Cutting Parameters -> Contour Types -> Face and Diameter Range for this to happen. The default setting for the face angle can be seen below.

After resetting the Minimum and Maximum angles the chamfer is now considered to be face geometry.

When the operation is generated the angled walls are cut when the face geometry is cut.
