One of our customer's users receive this error message when opening a part from Teamcenter or when closing/saving to Teamcenter.
This happens for all parts, drafts and assemblies, but only for this one user.
The full error message reads:
Teamcenter returned 000000008004A008 which SEEC does not recognize as a known error. Review the log file for further information.
The problem is user specific, other users are able to open the same files without an error
How to resolve this error?
Solution
To resolve this issue, in Teamcenter clear all the values for the following Teamcenter preferences by using Teamcenter --> Edit --> Options--> Search:
- MyHistory
- myfavorites
- MySearchHistory
Restart Teamcenter and the Solid Edge sessions.
With the preferences cleared and the sesion restarted the issue is now resolved.
