Solid Edge How can I setup 'Solid Edge CAM Pro' for use with Teamcenter?

Installed 'Solid_Edge_SECAMPro_2020_1926.exe'.  'Tools -> Environs -> CAM Pro' works when launching it from the unmanaged environment, but does not come up when launched from Teamcenter Integration with Solid Edge.

Solution

Here is one way this can work:

1. Add the following System (lower pane of the Environment Variables dialog from Control Panel) environment variables.

UGII_UGMGR_HTTP_URL   Value = http://server:7001/tc   
UGII_UGMGR_COMMUNICATION   Value = HTTP

2. Add the following values to the Teamcenter Preference TC_NX_Foreign_Datasets:

DatasetType="SE Part" NamedReference="SE-part" NamedReferenceFormat="BINARY" NamedReferenceTemplate="par"

DatasetType="SE Assembly" NamedReference="SE-assembly" NamedReferenceFormat="BINARY" NamedReferenceTemplate="asm"
