Summary

Details

Alert is displayed when a part is read-only, and the label is highlighted.

Alert: A read-only object has been modified.

The label arrow is attached to a circle in the sketch.
This problem does not occur when the labeled arrow is attached to a straight line in the sketch.

Why Alert appears on the circular sketch and not on Straight line? Why application has inconsistent behavior with label on Straight line and Circular sketch? See below snap -

Solution

Here the difference between label(leader) on the line and label on the arc case is because, for the leader on the arc case, we create a temporary arc in the same part during label selection. This is done for calculating the leader extension arc display.

But note that this arc is created temporary only, we delete that arc immediately after its use. And also, we have taken care that modified status will not be set on the part.

So, the function is working as designed.
