Details
1.Create a new part with a block
2.Create a PMI Linear Dimension using opposite sides of the Block.
3.Create a separate PMI note on any screen location.
4.Edit the Note to add a Leader from Linear Dimension.
5. Information->object and select the Label.
6.Notice different feature number is displayed from part navigator.

What causes the difference in feature numbering?
Solution
The number shown in information window is the counter number of associated objects.
It is not a feature number.
At step 2 two associated objects are defined.
i.e. When a linear dimension is created between two faces, these two faces are defined as associated objects .
First associated object=>Face[1]
Second associated object=>Face[2]
At step 4, 3rd associated object is defined.
i.e. When PMI linear dimension is selected as terminating object, the third associated object is defined.
Hence the third associated object is PMI linear dimension==> i.e. PMI Linear Dimension [3]
