NX An option for migrating NX12 toolbars to NX1926

How to migrate legacy NX toolbars (.tbr) files to NX1926 which only support Ribbons?

Solution

Change the existing file extension from .tbr to .grb. (eg common_tools.grb)

Create a folder called C:\legacy_toolbars\startup and place the .grb file in it

Set UGII_USER_DIR  to C:\legacy_toolbars

Start NX and then go to MB3-> Customize dialog

In Commands tab under All Groups, find the legacy toolbar you want to migrate and drag this new group from "All Groups" to wherever you want to access it from.
