NX Hiding component in NX and TC BOM

Is it possible to construct an assembly in integrated Teamcenter in which the children are "Referenced" as opposed to "used"?

Solution

A component can be 'Referenced' in NX Manager.  In NX,if you right click a component and choose Properties, the Assembly page has acheckbox for "Reference Component".  When enabled, the reference componentdoes not show up in the BVR (TC BOM).
