When trying to open a psz study, the error: "file invalid" is displayed.
Solution
You can get this error for two reasons.
First reason, there is a corruption in the file. Determine if there is a backup. Without a backup, you will need to redo your work since the last time you saved the study.
The second reason, there are files missing in the psz. Check the following files. You can use 7-Zip. If any of the highlighted files are missing, you can use (copy) a file from a previously saved study. The data in these files are not updated when you save the study. The screen shot immediately below is for standalone. The next screen shot is for Teamcenter platform.

Extract the damaged study to a folder, replace the missing files, zip back to a "psz" or "psz-tc" extension.
