Summary

Details

The customer has an assembly that is marked as a weldment.  When inserting it into a higher level and mirroring this assembly not all the geometry is mirrored correctly.  If the assembly is not a weldment assembly, everything is mirrored correctly.

The assembly to be mirrored appears like this within the parent assembly:

When mirroring the subassembly that contains the weldment features the result is as below:
Some components are moved from the correct position.

Solution

By editing into the subassembly it is observed that one of the assembly features is not updated (Mirror 3)

The first thing to do is to Recompute this feature.

Then return to the main assembly - Asm1.asm
Try again to create the Mirror component by selecting the subassembly  - now the result will be correct.
