Using Roll-up Mass Attribute to calculate the weight of an assembly.

Solution

The new Roll-up Attributes which are new in NX1899, can be enabled in the customer defaults (File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults). The Roll-up Mass attribute (MassPropRollupMass) can be used to roll-up the entire weight of the assembly at the top-level. This attribute will only populate in the top-level Part Properties dialog once the assembly file is saved.  This calculates the weight of the assembly at sea level, not the mass.
