Solid Edge The view scale does not update correctly on draft sheet

In this scenario, a user finds that when changing the view scale of the Drawing View the drawing block is not updated to show the new scale.

The view scale always remains as 2:1

Solution

In this instance, the Sheet scale has been changed to use 'User Defined Sheet Scale' instead of 'Drawing View Scale'.  This can be seen by doing a RMB on the sheet tab to see the short cut menu for the sheet.

Click 'Set Sheet Scale'. There are two buttons on the command bar to set how the scale is derived.  It is currently set to 'User Defined Sheet Scale'. Click the button for 'Drawing View Scale'.  Click on the drawing view from which to derive the scale.  It should now display the correct scale based on the drawing view.
