NX Setting the new NX version in Managed Mode

Where do you set what NX version to launch from Teamcenter 12? 

Is this controlled in the server side or in the client interface?

This used to be control this with the nx_startnxmanager.bat in the clients RAC machine.

Solution

This is set in the Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM).

Stop NX and Teamcenter.

Start the TEM:
 
Press Next:
 
Press Next:
 
Press Next:

Press Next:


Expand Extensions and scroll down to Teamcenter Integration for NX:

 
Expand Teamcenter Integration for NX and toggle off NX Rich Client Integration and select Next:

 
 Press the Start button and wait for TEM to finish:

 

Now, repeat the above steps and when you get to the point where you will need to toggle on NX Rich Client Integration, toggle it on and press Next.  In the next screen you will need to select the new NX version base directory as shown:

 
Select the base folder of the desired NX version:


Press OK --> Next --> Start.
Restart Teamcenter and NX.
