Insights Hub MindConnect IoT Extension Activation and Access

You have purchased MindConnect IoT Extension and want to see the corresponding icon on the launchpad of your tenant. 

After purchasing of MC IoT Extension, a tenant admin can follow these steps to grant access to the MC IoT Extension for himself and other tenant users:

• Go to Settings > Roles
• Search for role = mdsp:core:mcie:admin OR mdsp:core:mcie:user
• Go to edit assignments > assign to the desired user(s)
• Click next, then save

Once done, a user need to log out and log back in to his MindSphere tenant in order to find the MC IoT Extension icon on the launchpad from where he can enter and start using the application.
