You are submitting a Insights Hub support case to Siemens or trying to get access to Insights Hub product content - and asked to enter or join a Site ID. You might also hear this referred to as sold to ID or server ID. They all reference the same concept.
If you're not yet familiar with these terms - what is it?
SolutionWe will use "Site ID" in this description but the term is interchangeable with the others noted above.
All Siemens customers are assigned a specific Site ID when you purchase software from us. A Site ID is not only unique to a customer, it is unique to both the customer AND the Product(s) you've purchased. In other words, if you (Customer ABC) purchase both Teamcenter and Insights Hub you will have at least 2 Site IDs assigned - one for Teamcenter and one for Insights Hub.
These Site IDs provide you with access to the product content and downloads relevant to what you've purchased as well as submitting support cases related to that product.
For the Insights Hub legacy MindAccess offerings, there is a single Site ID assigned for each tenant type you have provisioned. If you purchased a MindAccess Developer, Operator, and IoT Value Plan, you will be assigned 3 different Site IDs. When submitting support cases to us, you would use the Site ID related to your tenant type as each has different functionality.
With the current Insights Hub products, you will get only one site ID for your environments (up to 4) within a Insights Hub capability package.
