What appears to be 3 identical threaded holes in the model, which should be reported as A1, A2 & A3 but rather as A1, A2, B1. What would be the cause?
Solution
The part has a partial cylindrical face which is coaxial with threaded hole. This cylindrical face is considered as a sub-hole of the threaded hole, so the Hole Table has this threaded hole shown in a different group, (B). This is as-designed behavior as hole table shows information based on geometry. If the user wants to ignore such faces then they need to set the Ignored Hole attribute [IGNORED_HOLE] on these faces.
If you are in an assembly drawing, you can make the component the work part --> select the Cylindrical Face --> MB3 --> Properties --> Attributes --> create the attribute with title IGNORED_HOLE and value to empty.
