In Teamcenter the customer has a number of properties that should be deleted when performing "Save as" in Solid Edge. If the properties are mapped to Solid Edge it is not possible to empty these.
Does there exist a preference with which it is possible to define what property should be deleted on Save as?
Solution
There is a preference SEEC_property_ClearValue
This defines a list of properties whose values are emptied or made null when the document is copied using Save As or Revise. To define the preference, add a row for each property and include: type of operation, Item type, document type and the Solid Edge property name. Optionally, you can determine if you would like an empty or null value sent to Teamcenter. You need to separate each option with a colon.
