Solid Edge Technical Publication "Click to Insert Custom Logo" field in HD Template is unclear

The Single Page Technical Publication Templates e.g. HD1 contains in the right upper corner a field labelled "Click to Insert Custom Logo", however nothing happens when clicking this button. 

What is this field used for?

Solution

The fields in the Technical Publication templates marked as "Click to insert custom image", "Click to insert custom logo" etc. are primarily intended for use with Illustrations. 

If a model is opened in Illustrations and selected with "Publish to PDF" one of the single page templates can be selected.  After selection of the template and clicking these fields, an image can be added as expected. When changing the template, the selected image is remembered and used in the newly selected template.
