Summary
Details
Custom 'Machine Control' events do not exist internally within the Post Builder post. The custom .cdl file exists as a "stand alone" .cdl file.
Solution
1. Before opening the postbuilider post... select 'Enable UDE Editor-->Yes'.
2. Open the post processor. 3. Select 'Machine Control'.4. Note the section now exists to allow for creating new Machine Control Events.5. The events that are created do not represent the custom data found in the "stand alone" .cdl file. 6. Save the post processor so the ".cdl" file is saved internally to the post processor. Close post builder. 7. Rename the newly saved ".cdl" file using ".cdl_old" as the file extension. 8. Copy the "stand alone ".cdl" file to the folder containing the post processor. 9. Rename the "stand alone" ".cdl" file to the name of the post processor name...make sure the ".cdl" extension remains. 10. Open the post processor in post builder. 11. Go to 'Program-->Machine Control'. 12. Note the "stand alone" "cdl" data is now internal to the post processor.
