NX Cannot Reselect a New G-code file while doing External Program Simulation

Several NC G-code files need to be simulated in NX CAM. When External Program Simulation is first started a menu named Simulate Machine Code File is displayed allowing the User to browse for the NC input file. When simulating the second NC file the browse menu is no longer displayed. This menu was always displayed in past versions of NX whenever the External Program Simulation was selected. How can this new file be selected?

Solution

In a recent version of NX the ability to delete or add the NC file into External Program Simulation was incorporated into the Program Manager. Under the Main element select the program name and do MB3 -> Delete to remove the previous program.

To bring in a new program for simulation select the Main element and MB3 -> Add.
