SEEC - LOV Description is not populated when property is set as Required

When an attribute is set to 'Required' in the BMIDE the List of Values (LOV) description is not populated to the attached attribute. 

Configuration:

In the BMIDE create two attributes:



Attach a Classic LOV to the first attribute.



Attach the LOV Description to the second  attribute.



Set the Attribute with the LOV to 'Required'.



Create an attribute mapping for the two attributes - not necessary for 'Required' properties, but shown here to demonstrate the issue.



In SEEC:

1. Create a new Solid Edge Part.
2. Save.
3. Notice in the Common Properties Dialog that the LOV description is not populated to the attached attribute.
   
   

Solution

Make the property attached to the Description value also 'Required' - in the example only the property attached to the LOV had been made 'Required').


Background: Both LOVs exist in the same xml for 'Required' properties.
