Summary

Details

Curves, in a sketch show the same color when editing the sketch even when the sketch reaches a fully constrained status.
Looking at sketch Part Settings you have a color scheme.

The colors indicate different object types as well as symbolize different conditions. Curves in a sketch can have 3 different conditions with 3 different colors:
- Curves                                         Deep Green  Status: no constraints at all
- Partially Constrained  Curves  Tan                 Status: partially constrained
- Fully Constrained Curves         Green             Status: fully constrained

When a sketch is fully constrained all curves are still indicated with the color Deep Green, as if no constraints have been applied.

Why is the curves not indicated with Green as they are fully constrained?

Solution

In order to see the status indicating curve colors of a sketch you need to turn off "Continues Auto Dimensioning" either in the sketch environment or in the Sketch Settings/Preferences. When "Continues Auto Dimensioning" is on, a sketch is constantly "fully constrained", but as the sketch potentially reaches this condition with automated dimensions, (not user created), the color indication of sketch curve status is not shown.
Please note there is a Sketch Settings menu in the Task environment of the currently active sketch and a Sketch Preference menu for the part file, applying to sketches to be created in the part file.

With "Continues Auto Dimensioning" turned off, if we now study coloring of the curves during the dimensioning process of a sketch

Here you can see the result of geometric constraints applied while creating the sketch curves. The two lines going from the fix point in the lower left corner are fully constrained = Green and the two remaining lines are partially constrained = Tan.

Now moving on and adding a dimension

Both vertical lines are now fully constrained = Green.

And finally adding the second dimension, all lines are now fully constrained = Green.

Please note: You will only see the constraint status colors on sketch curves while a sketch dimension or geometric constraint command/menu, is active.
