NX Perpendicular-, Parallel-dimension commands are greyed out in drafting.

User have the legacy dimension commands Perpendicular Dimension, Parallel Dimension, Horizontal Dimension and Vertical Dimension in the Drafting application toolbar, but they are greyed out.

How to turn them on?

Solution

Some drafting legacy commands, like for instance Perpendicular Dimension, Parallel Dimension, Horizontal Dimension and Vertical Dimension, were replaced by entirely new commands in NX9. These legacy commands were removed from the user interface and are no longer supported in creating drafting dimensions.
However, when you do a Search for these commands in Customizing, you will find them, but they are actually for sketcher dimensions. Therefore, these commands are not available in Drafting Application and become greyed out.
So, there is no way to turn them on and use them as drafting commands.
