How to publish JT data ate the time of Importing NX part files?

Solution

When you import parts into the Teamcenter database, you can now select the Publish JT Data option to publish JT data.



When the option is selected, the Publish Optional Information option is automatically selected also, which enables the JT data to be published.



You must select the Publish JT Data option before you identify the items for import, such as an assembly or an import from a folder. Otherwise, the option is unavailable.




If you are using "tcin_import.exe" utility for importing the data, then you can use below options for publishing the JT-


-publish_information=yes 
-publish_jt=yes


 | Note | Publish JT Data is not applicable for CAE parts, but you can still publish JT data asynchronously for CAE parts during import by selecting the Save JT Data option in the Save Options dialog box.
