NX Align/re-associate a projected view or section view back to its parent.

After a projected view or section view is disassociated from the parent view for any reason, how do you re-associate the view alignment back to the parent view?

Solution

To re-associate the alignment between the projected view or section view and its parent after it is broken, the user would need to select the hinge line "Projected View Viewing Direction Reference Arrow"
Or the section line --> MB --> Edit --> Set the Placement Method to Hinge

--> Close the dialog
