During initializing Mold Wizard (MW) Project, you want to use "Edit Customized Attributes" as below:

but the values are not updated after editing the spreadsheet. How can this be accomplished?

Solution

Initializing Project Mold Wizard -> Edit Customized Attributes -> Open Spreadsheet to edit the attribute value then save spreadsheet -> Close spreadsheet -> Back to NX --> OK to finish initialize project.

However the attribute is not updated with new value.

Because Mold Wizard caches the spreadsheet data on the first time reading to improve the performance, there are 2 solutions for this problem:

1. You can turn off Cache Spreadsheet Data in Customer Defaults to disable this function for all your NX sessions.

2. If you don't want to restart NX and want the cache function working, you can select the MW Standard Part Library in Reuse Navigator --> MB3 --> click refresh and then back to restart the Initialize Project dialog box.

In addition, in NX1926, we already made an enhancement that cached data would be automatically cleared when you click the Edit Customized Attributes button, but it would not update the values in the dialog box immediately, so you still need to reopen the dialog box to make the change take effect.
