When the assembly is loaded using "Partial Load" Load Option, creating View Sectioning with "Show Cap" ON exhibits undesired edges in shaded mode:
Why and how do you fix it?
Solution
The root cause of such artifacts is some modeling operation that was partially done to a solid (e.g. modifying only few faces in a body), which leaves the facet mesh not water-tight (i.e. it has gaps along model edges), then stencil buffer based graphics algorithm can show such display artifacts. These are not model edges.
To fix this problem, you can go to View --> Operation --> Facet Settings -->
Facet Regeneration --> Regenerate Facets.
This will help clear these artifacts. In 1899 release, there is an easier way to remove these artifacts via commonly known "Update Display" command. Until then above command can be used. Note that display facets for a body in a component are saved in Component Part (not in assembly part).
