Solid Edge Associative assembly sketch does not update when parts are moved

The user has sketches which are associative to parts in an assembly.

When the parts positions are modified the sketches do not update automatically - even though Automatic Update is ON.

Solution

This is working as designed.  Sketches are ordered objects that compute when the assembly document does as part of the document update.  When a constraint variable is changed, we do not compute an external document update and as such, the user has to update manually.  It may be necessary hit 'Update active levels' more than once in order to get the sketch to update if there are dependencies between the profile elements in the sketch.
