NX Using Draft - Faces, original face edges do not highlight

Have recently upgraded to NX1899. In the previous version of NX we used the edges of the original faces selected for Draft was highlighted during draft preview.


How to get this to work in the latest version of NX?

Solution

The desired highlight of the original geometry, (selected face edges), is controlled by a user specific session setting in NX. You can turn the highlighting on through File --> Preferences --> Selection --> Highlight group --> enable "Highlight Hidden Edges".


The "Highlight Hidden Edges" preference is not available as a customer default. It is stored by default on the local system in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Siemens\NX1899\UserPreferences.txt. (In NX12.0 and earlier versions, it was stored in the Windows registry).
