NX How to change/edit material for multiple plates (or other Steel Feature) in detail design?

How to change/edit material for multiple plates in Ship Design / Ship Structure Detail Design? 

Solution

You can use "Paint Parameters" to set parameter for multiple plates the same as 1 "Source Plate". 
With "Paint Parameters" you can change all parameters of multiple plates (or other Steel Feature) at once.

Procedure: 

1. Change 1 plate to the required stock parameters (if not available yet);
2. Start "Paint Parameters"

• Select Source Object: Plate with the required stock parameters (step 1);
• Select all plates which need the same parameter applied (Target Objects) 
  This way all Target Objects will inherit the same parameters as the Source. Inheritance is "all or nothing". You cannot change just 1 parameter.
