NX Setting NX Default Units for MassPropsDensity on Attributes Tab of Part Properties

When viewing the MassPropsDensity value within the Attributes Tab of the Part Properties window, the units default to lbf-sec^2/in^4. Customers may it to default to lbm/in^3 so it will automatically use those units when displaying this field in the NX ANT. How can users change this value?

Solution

Prior to NX1899 you can specify the units as shown below (string name define in uf_unit_types.h).
Use "PoundMassperCubicInch" for lbm/in^3.
 
User will see the following in the Properties dialog Part Attributes tab


 
Starting in NX1899 it will be easier to choose units in the customer defaults.
