Customer needs to move their RealNC license over to a new server. The new server is a
Windows 2016 based virtual machine.
How should customer provide the LM Host Id and Composite Host ID for the Virtual Machine?
Solution
The LM Host ID is the Physical address of the machine, as seen in the command "ipconfig /all".
RealNC only uses this value, as it works with the old style Tecnomatix licensing.
Run the RealNC installer, and only install the license server by selecting that from the RealNC installation selector.
This will also include a file - "ugs_composite.exe".
Run this in a CMD prompt shell, it will return the Composite ID.
