Problem:
There is an error in the NX release notes. The Product compatibility table incorrectly states compatibility for the following Active Workspace - NX release combinations:
Active Workspace 4.0 and NX 12.0
Active Workspace 4.1 and NX 12.0.1
The following is correct:
Active Workspace 4.0 is not compatible with NX 12.0
Active Workspace 4.1 is not compatible with NX 12.0.1
For the Active Workspace - NX release combinations stating support for AW 4.0, the minimum AW 4.0 patch is 4.
Active Workspace 4.0 patch 4 is minimum (AW 4.0.4)
Solution:
The problem is resolved in the NX December 2019 functional release (NX 1899 Series).
The updates were integrated into the NX - Teamcenter Product Compatibility table, shown below.
