Solid Edge Define default version of KeyShot to launch from Solid Edge

If multiple versions of KeyShot are installed on to the workstation, how to define which KeyShot version is launched or started from the KeyShot Render button inside of Solid Edge?

Solution

Typically the default version of KeyShot started from inside Solid Edge will be the most recently installed version of KeyShot on to the workstation.

However, it is possible to change the default version of KeyShot that is launched from inside Solid Edge.

In the registry change the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Luxion\KeyShotVersion

Set this value to the installed version of KeyShot that the user wants run as the default version e.g. KeyShot 6:
Now, whenever KeyShot Render is started from inside Solid Edge, the default version of KeyShot launched will be the version defined in the above registry key.
