Details

Ship Design Plate Preparation, result in wrong contours for (nonplaner / double) curved plates.
Plate contours is wrong due to METAFORM_CHORDAL_TOL value.

Solution

Refine the chordal tolerance value (and if needed linear tolerance).
For this you can add expressions to the parts with NonPlaner plates. Plate Preparation feature will use these expressions:

Add expression: METAFORM_CHORDAL_TOL=5 (or other appropriate value)

METAFORM_LINEAR_TOL :
This tolerance directly impacts the density of mesh used to create the mapping surface. It also has a small impact on the accuracy of edges of the flattened solid.

METAFORM_CHORDAL_TOL
This tolerance has a big effect on the accuracy of edges in the flattened solid. This tolerance is used to convert an edge into points and then back into an edge. The smaller the value, more points will be sampled along the edge and the end result would be more accurate.
