Summary

Details

While creating "Integer" & "Number (Double)" type of attribute in NX, currently for "Number (Double)" type automatically it takes default value "0.000000000000" and for "Integer" type it takes default "0" value.

Can we have default value as blank/space for Number and Integer type attribute?

Solution

The answer is No.
String is a type which can have blank as default value as blank/space is also a string, whereas for Number and Integer type Nothing=0(Zero).
In numerology ZERO is the symbol of 'nothingness', hence it sets default value as "0.000000000000" for "Number (Double)" type and for "Integer" type it takes default "0" value.
