NX The result of "Analyze Formability One-step" and "Flattening and Forming" differs

The result of  "Analyze Formability One-step" and "Flattening and Forming" differs.


What causes the difference?

Solution

Onestep analysis is FEM solver based unforming with user inputs on the boundary constraints. 


Flattening and Forming is geometry based. It tries to preserve the length while carrying out the flattening.As both algorithm are different , there could be a slight differences in the results
