When trying to launch the TMG Executive menu with the GUI, the launch fails with the following message: 

[user@server scratch]$ $UGII_TMG_DIR/com/tmgnx.com UI
Using UGII_TMG_DIR: /apps/sc/2019.2/nxcae_extras/tmg
This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb"in "". 

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Solution

This error occurs due to a library issue with the early Thermal and Flow solvers in the 2019.2 series. This will be resolved by Thermal and Flow solver version 2019.2.4 and beyond.
