Solid Edge All files are not being indexed

Solid Edge files are not being indexed when rebuilding the index from the Fast Search Configuration or the Windows Indexing Options dialog.

Solution

This problem is related to the volume where the Solid Edge vault is located having Data Deduplication enabled.  Windows Search Indexing is not compatible with Data Deduplication enabled files, therefore the files will not be indexed.  When Data Deduplication is enabled on a volume, the files will carry a "PL" attribute by default.
