The user wants to align dimensions in their drawing. On Sheet 1 this can be done but on Sheet 2 no alignment is possible. Why?
Solution
The difference in behaviour is that drawing view properties of Sheet 1 has 'Create 3D Dimensions in Pictorial views' turned OFF. Therefore dimensions created on Sheet1 drawing view are 2D dimensions and can be aligned. In contrast the Drawing view created in Sheet2 has this option turned ON, so dimensions are 3D dimensions which means they cannot be aligned.
For orthogonal views 'Create 3D Dimensions in Pictorial views' is OFF by default so it is most likely that this had mistakenly turned ON.
To get the correct the behavior, set 'Create 3D Dimensions in Pictorial views' to OFF in this drawing view - now when dimensions are created they will be able to be aligned.
