Details

To export an image on the draft to dwg  the customer use insert object > 'create new object' > objecttype = paintbrush-image. The imported image gets a border, which they can turn off by right mouse button on the image > properties > tab 'format' > turn off 'show border'. But when exporting this draft to dwg, the image gets a black border again

The draft to export in dwg contains two objects:



Saving in dwg (using the default seacad.ini) and opening the resulting file in autocad you will see:


Solution

The solution is to edit the configuration file "seacad.ini" and change the option Export Object border.

"Export Object border=1" (with default option value 1 means show the border in exported DWG/DXF file.
"Export Object border=0" means hide the border in exported DWG/DXF file.


This option is applicable to all images or OLE objects that exist in a draft file.

Note: These options are applicable at document level not image/OLE object level.

Changing this option the result of the DWG file will be correct:
