Solid Edge Synchronize custom occurrence properties during file open

User has configured some custom occurrence properties in SEEC.  When they modify an occurrence property in SEEC and upload to Teamcenter the modification is synchronized with the Teamcenter BOM.  However when an occurrence property is modified in the Teamcenter BOM  and the assembly is re-opened in SEEC the occurrence properties are not updated.  Why?

Solution

This is currently working as designed.  SEEC does not synchronize the custom occurrence properties during file open to avoid performance impact.  To synchronize the custom occurrence properties you need to use the 'Synchronize All" button in the occurrence property dialogue.
